Double Tragedies

I'd like to extend my condolences to the families and friends of any of the thousand or so people who died in a stampede in Baghdad a couple of days ago, and also for the thousands who have died or have had their livelihoods and property completely wiped out in New Orleans and the other Gulf Coast Communities affected by Hurricane Katrina.

I'll write a longer post next week about New Orleans (I think my friend Hassan did a good job writing about the events in Baghdad). In the meantime, I'm going to continue work on the analysis of the Iraq constitution draft.
